A Place to Relax

As I approached the entrance leading to the beach house, it was an instant feeling of purity and tranquility. Everything surrounding me seemed somehow transparent and clear. The soothing sound of the waves combined with the gentle echoes of the wind. The refreshing scent of the salty water immediately made me feel like a new person. The first aspect that I noticed was the soft golden sand and the crystal clear ocean, which enhanced and reinforced the feeling of calmness. It is the same feeling that I acquire every time I come to Salwa beach and escape from the crowdedness and pressure of the city life.

Moreover, the subtlety and quietness of the atmosphere made it an ideal location for meditation. Most of my relatives are simply relaxing and resting on the warm sand and enjoying the cool breezy weather. I sat down near the shoreline and observed my young cousins building sand castles, while the others were riding their jet skis and having a pleasant time. I was able to smell the smoke coming from the barbecue gathering, at the other side of the beach. The daylight seemed to become gradually dimmer as it was time for sunset. Everyone seemed carefree and optimistic. It was the overall mood of serenity that reinforced the ambiance of this place. It is a territory that renews a person and releases any tension, when they are experiencing a difficult time.
